Unicorn Winery Winemaster - Bree Ann Moore

Our winemaker, Bree Ann Ann Moore, has been creating the finest wines for Unicorn Winery since 2003. She joined Unicorn as a consultant and became our full time winemaker in 2004.

Bree Ann graduated from UC Davis in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Viticulture and Enology, while there she interned as a wine chemist for Beringer for the 2000 harvest. Bree Ann and her husband moved to Virginia in 2002.

Bree Ann began her career in the Virginia Wine Industry as the assistant winemaker for Rappahannock Cellars during the 2003 harvest. For the past four years Bree Ann has successfully created superior quality, award winning Virginia wines, establishing herself as a recognized force on the local and international competition scene.

Striving to create the most well-balanced, carefully hand crafted wines, Bree Ann continually experiments with and evolves her winemaking style to best highlight the nuances that each year’s growing conditions bring. With incredible passion and dedication, using her extensive education and experience Bree Ann works tirelessly to create exquisite wines that showcase the best of what Virginia offers and ensure the growth and success of the Virginia Wine Industry.
